Product Review

Mixed seed post mount standard feeder with 8-10-pound capacity. 9-1/2-inch w by 10-inch h by 17-1/2-inch l. Stovall products feature all cedar construction, stainless steel and dichromate plated screws, washers, hooks and chains, hand sanded, assembled with screws, many products coated with wood protector which accents the wood grain and the natural warmth of cedar. Environmentally green practices – hand sorted down graded lumber. The Shop is heated with scrap wood, cooled with natural shade and insulation, nestled in a glen among 25+ acres of beech/maple/oak forest. Rumored staffing of woodland gnomes with a payroll of nuts and berries is still not factual.

This is a really well built bird feeder.
My post is a 1" threaded black pipe so all I did was to screw on a 1" pipe flange
on the bottom of the feeder and then screw the feeder to the post. Worked really
well. I did drill four 1/4" holes on each side of the feeder bottom so that
rain water would drain out. Good buy Amazon.

Received feeder in excellent condition. But to my surprise the bottom was flat without the nice wooden "collar" in which it's fixed to the post in the second picture. It does look exactly like the first picture but the second picture where it is shown installed on a post is misleading... You do not get a nice collar mount. You will have to screw down through the bottom of the feeder to the post or come up with another mounting method and then pretty it up with a wooden collar to make it look like the second picture... not bad for the price but wish it was a little more informative.
