Within a day the squirrels had torn it up because I had put bird seed in it. I found it in pieces on the ground. I put it back together but it never looked as good again. It is a cute decoration, but doesn't work as a bird feeder. It also hasn't held up that well outside and looks faded and ugly. I had even sprayed it with a clear waterproof protector before hanging it outside on a tall shepherd's hook.

I am very disappointed in this cute bird feeder. The construction is shoddy. The dowel attached to the hanging wire is unglued from the feeder so it will not hang. The wooden sides for holding the plastic removable "windows' are not secured enough by the screws at the base. I tightened them with my philips screw driver and the wooden sides still would not keep the plastic sides in place. I feel I wasted my money on this. Do not even think about buying this product.

I ordered this bird house for the front porch of my new house. It was even cuter than it appeared online. I liked so much I ordered another one from same manufacturer.
