We could all take a lesson from the wren. In a typical day, the male wren may make up to 1,000 trips to and from the nest to feed his young, stopping regularly to burst into song. A bird like that deserves a house this fine, with all the great features of our Starter Home--solid mahogany, hand-oiled, with a hanging loop on the back--along with an A-line reinforced front. Our "A+" effort for a bird that teaches us joy! Dimensions: 6" x 7" x 11" - 1.25" hole.

The Heartwood Wrental House Birdhouse is our third Heartwood purchase. The first one was so well made, that we've kept coming back for more.

Anyone interested in birdhouses knows how many cute houses made of shoddy materials have flooded the market. The Heartwood houses are an exception. They are made in Mississippi of quality woods and given lasting finishes.

Our Heartwood houses are both attractive and sturdy.

This particular house is mahogany with a copper sheet covering the top, a portal for cleaning the house on the back, and a hook for hanging.

I have every confidence that while we will enjoy the sight of the house on our fence, the wrens/chickadees/whatever who use it for the season will enjoy it even more.

Five Stars. The bottomline: A quality product that will last and bring enjoyment to both humans and birds. win-win
