its really cute and cool looking to humans! Ladybugs go in... and fly out never to be seen again. THIS ITEM IS A SCAM! ladybugs dont live in houses! I even bough more ladybugs (half were dead when I got them) and used an attractant... They went in... and flew away never to be seen again!

I was very disappointed when I unpacked this today, as it seems to be very poorly made. I'm fairly sure even I could do better. The tin top isn't well attached; it's much larger than the board underneath and the nails are barely in the wood. One of the nails missed the board entirely. The door doesn't close completely, as one side sticks out. I can't tell if it's because the wood is warped (it's very green still) or the hinges are on crooked (one hinge is missing a screw as well, and the pre-drilled hole does not line up with the hinge's hole). Also, the latch to fasten the door closed does not line up with the screw in place to latch on, or perhaps it's the wrong size. Either way, there's no way to keep the door closed, even if I do push in the bowed side. I am not impressed. No way to know if it would even do what it claims, since the door hanging open defeats the purpose of having a sheltered place for the ladies to go.
