Esschert Design Thatched Roof Wren Bird House

This birdhouse is exactly what I was looking for, and at a great price. It has the hinged side, so it is easily cleaned. The only downside is when you nail it to the tree it has the opportunity to get blown from side to side. We ended up putting a couple of extra nails in it. Great house, especially for the price.

I just received this in the mail today and it's falling apart as I take it out of the box. Many pieces of the thatch roof are sliding out of the roping and there's a huge crack running down the access door. If I put this thing outside (even in the summer) it might last a month. I'm returning it immediately.

I love this bird house! I bought it as an anniversary gift for friends who also just bought a house! It's adorable in their garden! Think I might get one for myself as well!
